All gear is shipped directly to us and we will provide it on the first day of camp.

Each week promises a fresh burst of excitement with activities focused on our primal needs. From mastering the art of fire-making and using it as a tool, to identifying wild edible, useful and medicinal plants, your senses will be fully engaged.

Prepare to dive into nature observation, shelter building, tracking, and even crafting natural artifacts. But that's not all! Students also get the chance to learn knife safety and handling, coupled with practical carving techniques. They will be guided by our skilled instructors through various projects, ensuring they gain hands-on experience. Experience the thrill of nature like never before!

Wolfpack- Family Nature Connection & Earthskills: Fire Making Fun 101

Get ready for a thrilling workshop where you'll become a fire-building pro! Dive into the key aspects of fire creation, from picking the perfect materials to crafting a robust fire structure. We'll reveal a smorgasbord of lighting methods, from classic matches to cutting-edge ferro rods. Rain or shine, finding dry material won't be a problem anymore!

But hold on, there's more! We'll show you the secrets of identifying wild plants loaded with volatile oils, your new go-to fuel source. Imagine sparking a fire with just the treasures you've found around you. How cool is that?

Maryland Homeschool Naturalist Program - Bowie (Nov 11- Dec 23)

The Homeschool Naturalist Program provides participants with a deep nature connection as our experienced mentors use the knowledge of our ancestors to guide them through meaningful nature-based experiences.

We will explore the flora and fauna of the local area through animal tracking and plant identification and experience first-hand the interconnectedness of things. This 100% outdoor program is like no other, as nature is not only our classroom and our teacher it's the foundation of every lesson and experience.

Through countless numbers of Earthskills and natural crafts, your child will learn how nature has provided us the four basic elements of survival - shelter, water, fire and food. We will go on adventures and learn how to manage these resources and become stewards of the land.

This ancestral knowledge is your birthright and has been passed down from past generations. Through the ancient tradition of coyote teaching, we are building a community of natural leaders that will hold this ancient wisdom and continue to pass it on to future generations to come.
