Our HIDE TANNING WORKSHOP walks you through all the steps it takes to turn animal skins into useable leather for clothing, bags and footwear. Two styles of tanning are covered; the wet scrape and dry scrape methods. Students will go home with a tanned buckskin. Topics that will be covered are; skinning, fleshing, dehairing, softening and smoking of the hides.

Workshop times: 9am-5pm Sat & Sun
