Ancestral Knowledge is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that Needs Your Financial Support!  Our NUMBER ONE GOAL is to be able to offer our Programs at prices which our schools and communities in MD, DC and Northern VA can actually afford!  The money you donate will aid this effort and those things we need to make it all possible.

Your donations help provide funding for:

    -Scholarships to students who need financial aid

    -Program materials and supplies

    -Transportation for program participants

    -Affordable programming for our communities and schools

    -General liability insurance and operating expenses

    -The Purchase of Still Point at Rolling Ridge. Programs at this facility will begin in 2009

 Ancestral Knowledge land purchase update.

We have nearly reached our goal.  We have raised $45,000 and need only $5000 more to reach our initial purchase goal.  I know how tight the economy is, if you can help at any level of donation that would be great.  Every little bit helps. 

We already have use of the land for 2009.  We will be running several programs there including two weeks of overnight camps. 

bulletAll donors of $80 or more will receive an Ancestral Knowledge T-shirt.
bulletIndividual donors of $500 or more will be invited to attend a weekend getaway on the property scheduled for June 6-7 2009. 
bulletCorporate sponsors of $1000 or more will be offered a full day team-building outing, designed for individual corporate needs.  Examples of outings include wilderness survival techniques, edible plant walks, and primitive fire making.

-Local Office space (500 square feet or more in the DC area)

When you purchase an Ancestral Knowledge tee shirt all proceeds go toward our scholarship fund. This fund is available to those who don't have the ability to pay full price for our programs

In 2008 Just over $2200 in Financial aid scholarships made it possible for 15 participants to attend Ancestral Knowledge programs.
