During our BOW MAKING WORKSHOP the students will participate in the ancient fine art of bow making; learning to delicately carve and shape a single piece of wood into a beautiful and efficient survival tool.  During this four day class, the students will study and experience all the steps in making a self-bow.  Starting with tree selection and harvesting then working through design layout, shaping, tillering (bending) and shooting, the student will complete a highly effective hunting weapon.  The students will also learn how to make their own double loop bow strings.  Students will want to bring some arrows to test out their final product.
